Bob Bossin is performing songs and stories about his outlaw father in a stage show called Davy the Punk, in Whitehorse at the Old Firehall on Thursday, Sept 22 at 8 p.m..  Tickets are $25 and are available at Dean’s String and Music Supplies for more information contact Gregory Bryce at 667-2161.

Davy the  Punk was a major figure from the 1920s to 1940s in illegal off-track betting on horse racing in Ontario, mostly within the poor immigrant community; Bob knew almost nothing about that life till years after his father died when Bob was a teenager.
